X-Ray

Our in-house radiology department can provide you and your doctor with the most advance technology in digital x-ray, so there’s no more waiting on x-rays, it only takes about 5 seconds to view pet problems. We use it for a number of things from, discovering foreign body, enlarged heart, all the way down to fractures and any internal disorders. We can now attach x-rays to a your pets history for easy future reference, with adds versatility for our other branches. You can request a DVD as you wait, to take with you to specialist if needed or just for viewing at home. It’s a great feature to take all your medical records with you and can be a great savings.

Ultrasound

We also have ultrasound equipment that takes it a step further and looks beyond x-rays; you can see damaged tissue and problems with the heart or many internal organs.  This is very helpful in diagnosis during critical times. You can enjoy your pets pregnant visit by seeing progress from visit to visit.

Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA)

We can send your x-rays out to be examined for orthopedic and genetic diseases; this progress is a done throw the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals  (OFA). This process certifies your pets joints. We perform an exam on your pet and if our doctors find your pet is a good candidate we them send your x-rays off at your request for certification. OFA will look for several things reporting there finds back to you as an owner and advise breeders of diseases and advising them, while encourage and establish control programs to lower the incidence of orthopedic and genetic diseases for future.
