Noah’s Ark Animal Clinics has a 40-year history in the Cincinnati area, along with a 100-year history in Ohio! Dr. John S. Lies, OSU 1950, founded the Colerain Animal Clinic in 1967. Our Ft. Wright facility was opened in 1999, and we are very pleased to be serving our northern Cincinnati counties at our newly opened Westchester location at the old Black Forest Restaurant on RT 42 in Westchester. Current owner and president, Dr. Mike Lies, has worked at these clinics for the past 30 years and we consider the 100 year history being that Dr. Mike’s grandfather, Dr. George Lies, graduated in 1913 and practiced in Ft. Recovery Ohio, making real soon the hundred year anniversary of Lies veterinary clinics in Ohio. All three doctors are Ohio State University graduates.

We do consider this history and tradition as important in understanding what makes our Noah’s Ark Animal Clinics unique. Veterinary medicine is not just a job for us; we are rooted in serving our community through care for its pets and creatures, placing community needs higher than business strategy and practices. Our motto, “We treat your pet like our own,” is a statement all employees are asked to live up to at hire, a statement we instruct all veterinarians to practice by and a guideline to every protocol, medical decision and business practice we make.

At the end of the day we want to provide our clients with the best in veterinary care, reasonable health care options and at a fee you can afford.

We currently have 3 large, state of the art facilities, all equipped with digital radiology, laser surgical products, full laboratory potentials, centralized oxygen and dental, and medical and surgical expertise. If we cannot meet some kind of medical or surgical need, we do have referral system options to get you to where you can receive that care. We also have an online pharmacy, for our clients only, where you can refill any long term medication or pick up routine preventive heartworm and flea products at the most reasonable price around.

All this is about trust. We want you to know that you can trust us to treat your pet just as we would our own.
